Welcome! We are super excited to sit down with you (virtually) to chat about your business, and your journey into entrepreneurship! Here at The Top Floor team, we know better than anyone that running a business is hard, and sometimes can feel isolating. As a part of our mission to help business owners succeed, we host this Top Floor Series to share real stories of real entrepreneurs/CEOs here in your local area. We love to help promote your business, whilst simultaneously providing value to the business community by sharing your story.

What You’ll Do On The Interview
You will address a series of questions that we will send over in advance. These questions will cover your experience as a CEO, the advice you have for aspiring entrepreneurs, and the importance of leadership in business.

We give people an opportunity to step into the spotlight. They can tell their journey, what hurdles they've come across and how they overcame them! This gives our viewers an idea of where your business is currently at and how you could aid other CEOs with your expertise.

About the Top Floor Media Team
The media team consists of skilled marketers, with an abundance of education in the coaching and podcasting world. We are on standby to help with the booking of your interview and to answer any questions you might have!
Tips to prepare
RELAX! The best interviews happen when the guest shows up ready to have some fun. The more you are willing to share, the more natural the conversation will flow.
Find a quiet place to take the meeting from, ideally from your computer (rather than phone).Camera positioning - adjust camera angle so that your head and shoulders are visible in the center of the frame. Test your camera and mic and ensure they are in working order. Built in cameras are fine, external mics are recommended (wired headphones work great!)If using a Mac - for best quality, turn on "Mic Isolation" and "Studio Lighting". (Settings and set up may vary by device).If you have a ring light, using it is encouraged. Having a light source just beyond the camera provides a better image on for the video.
Wear what is comfortable and best represents YOU. Do not feel that you need to dress up or down to participate. If you are in a place where interruptions may happen (i.e. home office with kids running around), we recommend making a simple paper sign that can be taped to the door stating - "Do not disturb - recording in progress". REMEMBER - the tips above are only suggestions. We want to provide you the best overall content for your use - that said, we have completed some amazing interviews with the guest joining via phone from his/her vehicle.
